Outlook Error 0x8004010F

Unable to access Outlook data and getting an Error 0x8004010F



If you searched before about this error in forum or somewhere else you found that they suggest to create a new profile. But it was not a good idea if you have different email account in Microsoft Outlook. At this time given below steps work for you

  • Step1: From Outlook 2010 click File > Account Setting
  • Step2: Next Click on Change Folder
  • Step3: After that Click on new Outlook data file (temporary)
  • Step4: Give it whatever name you want (I used Test)
  • Step5: Click + to left of the folder name to expand subfolders.
  • Step6: And after that Click Inbox and OK
  • Step7: Then Click change folder
  • Step8: Click select one you want
  • Step9: Close account setting and Click send/receive.
